Hinode features tableside hibachi cooking, sushi and Japanese dishes such as teriyaki chicken, steaks, salmon and shrimp. Served with grilled hibachi vegetables, noodles, soup and salad .There's also an impressive sushi menu featuring the Las Vegas Roll, Phildedelphia, Shrimp Tempura, Wowwow Wee and the Wee Wowwow and, of course, a California roll.

Even though it is pricey, it is one of the best places in Springfield, Mo. to eat. Always good to get a reservation for they do get busy during the evening. The steak and shrimp combo meal is one of the best that I have had so far. That is saying alot because I normally do not eat steak at restaurants since I do cook outs year round. They do a great job of cooking the steak the way you want it. Over all for the money, great place for special occasion.
Arrived 15 minutes prior to reservation. We weren't seated until one hour after our reservation. The seating host seated several groups our size and larger before seating us. I also noticed on the seating list that several walk in groups that even came in after us were seated before us. After asking the seating host twice about our reservation we were still ignored. This was to be a celebration of my daughters graduation, dampened by the thoughtlessness of a seating host.
